Arrival Dubai

I arrived ok at Dubai after a smooth flight from Brisbane on the Emirates Airbus A380 and am now ensconced in this massive airport awaiting my flight to Tehran with the local airline, FlyDubai. It is so big I had to take a train to the luggage collection carrousel! Here's hoping for an Internet connection in Tehran.

Getting Ready

On June 9 I fly off from Brisbane to Dubai and from there will continue on to Tehran, the capital of Iran. I am going to spend 17 days wandering around this magical but little known, at least to most Australians, country enjoying its culture and cuisine and getting a glimpse of its wonderful Islamic Persian architecture.
